I had some buckwheat flour kicking round from after I had my elimination eating regimen and went gluten-free for some time, and determined to strive my hand at some buckwheat waffles.

They are often fairly dense, so I blended in some brown rice flour to maintain this gluten-free, and used coconut oil as an alternative of butter, and a flax egg to make it vegan. Toss in a little bit of protein powder, and conceal some chia seeds in there, and you have a heathy breakfast and also you did not even realize it.

Make Your Meal Even More healthy Tip:

I really feel like there may be a lot great things in these waffles, that it actually comes right down to the toppings to make it wholesome. You are going to want maple syrup as they are a bit on the drier aspect, however if you happen to toss on some banana slices (I do not like uncooked banana, or else I might have used it), any type of berries, or perhaps a good nut-butter, you are golden.
